DFID
commissions FARM-Africa and partners to
scale up its Aqua Shops Model in Kenya
The Aqua Shops model is a DFID approach
under the Research Into Use Programme designed
to overcome the constraints of Aquaculture
Development. The model that is so successful
in Eastern India with more than 20,000 poor
farmers and entrepreneurs greatly benefiting,
will be scaled up in Nyakach and Samia districts

FARM-Africa Board of Trustees Tour MATF Projects in Western Kenya
After their annual general meeting in Nairobi, the FARM-Africa board of trustees found the opportunity to go on two-day field experience at some of the FARM-Africa(FA) projects in Kenya. The visit that took place on 18th and 19th March 2010, had one group go to Mwingi, in Eastern Kenya and another in Rongo and Migori in Western Kenya. More... |
